Job Overview

We are looking for a motivated Working Student – Data Analytics to join our Customer Finance Department as soon as possible and support our credit team with data-driven insights.

As part of the Customer Finance Data Analysis team, you will work with experienced analysts to explore EEA’s rich datasets, uncover credit trends, improve reporting processes, and help stakeholders make data-informed decisions, particularly in areas related to portfolio performance, credit assessment, customer repayment behaviour, and portfolio management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the team in gathering, cleaning, and structuring datasets from diverse internal and external sources to ensure data readiness for analysis.
  • Assist in the preparation of analytical reports and executive presentations, translating complex data into clear, concise narratives.
  • Perform in-depth exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, patterns, and actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making.
  • Extract and interpret data related to customer credit performance, identifying key indicators and presenting findings to enhance business visibility and risk assessment.
  • Design and develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using tools such as Excel and Tableau to communicate insights effectively.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and deliver tailored analytical solutions.
  • Contribute to the documentation of data processes and support initiatives to uphold data quality, consistency, and integrity.

 

Knowledge and skills

Experience:

  • Ideally first experience in data analytics, financial analysis, or related disciplines.
  • Demonstrated strong analytical acumen, with the ability to interpret and synthesize both qualitative and quantitative data.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a high degree of intellectual curiosity, consistently validating data and questioning assumptions to ensure accuracy and insight.
  • Proficient in data analysis tools and languages, including Excel, SQL and business intelligence platforms such as PowerBI and Tableau.
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, effectively engaging with diverse teams to understand business needs and deliver data-driven solutions.
  • Self-motivated and adaptable, with a proactive approach to learning and thriving in dynamic, fast-paced environments

 

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a master's degree in a relevant discipline such as Economics, Accounting, Data Science, Statistics, Finance or Mathematics.
  • Additional certifications in areas like Data Analytics, Risk Management, or related specializations are considered a strong asset.

 

Language(s): 

  • English
  • French or Portuguese are a plus
