We are seeking an experienced trainer to design and deliver practical, high-impact courses in data analytics, data governance, and compliance reporting. The role focuses on equipping professionals to analyse data credibly, apply governance and protection frameworks, manage data risk, meet regulatory obligations, and communicate insights through clear, stakeholder-oriented reporting and visualisation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver engaging in-person and virtual training on: data analytics fundamentals, governance frameworks, data quality, protection, risk management, and compliance obligations.
  • Teach core statistical concepts and their business application.
  • Integrate Six Sigma concepts where relevant to process improvement and defect reduction.
  • Instruct on ethical data usage, integrity controls, classification, retention, and access management.
  • Demonstrate practical analysis techniques in Excel (formulas, pivot tables, lookups, modelling basics) and develop clear, insight-led charts.
  • Coach participants in sourcing reliable data, assessing data quality, and mitigating bias.
  • Guide development of compliance-aligned reporting structures (e.g., for governance committees, sponsors, regulators).
  • Provide structured exercises, case studies, and hands-on labs; evaluate performance and give actionable feedback.
  • Maintain and update course materials to reflect evolving standards (e.g., data protection regulations, governance best practices).
  • Track learner progress, compile evaluation data, and recommend continuous improvements.

Requirements

  1. Strong knowledge of data analytics, data governance, and data compliance principles.
  2. Proven training / facilitation experience (minimum 10 instructor-led sessions delivered).
  3. Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; ability to create clear analytical workbooks and executive-ready presentations. (Experience with additional visualisation tools a plus.)
  4. Working knowledge of statistical methods (regression, ANOVA, frequency/variance analysis) and Six Sigma concepts.
  5. Certified trainer or demonstrable instructional design and delivery proficiency.
  6. Excellent verbal communication, coaching, and facilitation skills across mixed seniority groups.
  7. Strong organisation, preparation discipline, and attention to detail.
  8. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and Google Workspace; familiarity with modern teaching platforms / LMS and instructional documentation best practices.
