This is a hands-on, autonomous working environment where you'll directly impact customer satisfaction by supporting the Airline/MROs with their requests.

Your location

You will be working at the largest production site for civil aircraft situated in Hamburg. Its location on the southern banks of the river Elbe includes the option to commute by ferry. About us

Join our highly experienced and dynamic team in Hamburg! As an operational unit within Technical Data in Customer Services, our core mission is to create and maintain the comprehensive technical data manuals and illustrations for German-managed airframe parts. We pride ourselves on delivering complete documentation for new aircraft and ensuring it is meticulously maintained throughout its entire life cycle.

This role focuses on three key manuals:

  • Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC),

  • Structural Repair Manual Identification (SRM Ident.),

  • and Illustrated Parts List (IPL) for the Component Maintenance Manual (CMMm).

 

Your Impact

In this role, you will bring data into the customers world and will be the guardian of critical technical information that keeps our aircraft flying safely and efficiently. You'll take ownership of the content that defines the maintenance and repair of our fleet, directly impacting operational excellence and security worldwide.

  • Orchestrate the entire lifecycle of technical documentation by analyzing a wide range of source data to determine its impact on our Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC), Illustrated Parts List (IPL), and Structural Repair Manual (SRM).

  • Drive the internal creation and management of IPC/IPL and SRM content, ensuring every detail is accurate and up to the highest standards.

  • Collaboration with our subcontractors, overseeing their work orders and performing quality checks to guarantee the integrity of all deliveries.

  • Build strong relationships with internal and external customers and subcontractors, serving as a trusted partner and expert in technical data.

  • Provide expert answers to technical queries from our customers (Airlines, MROs), acting as the go-to person for all technical data issues.

  • Support the continuous improvement of our processes, participating in projects that will shape the future of our technical data management.

As an indication for you: You can expect a gross annual salary of 75.000 € to 90.000 € based on a weekly working time of 35 hours if you meet all the requirements. We can make an individual assessment and classification based on objective, gender-neutral criteria as soon as we get to know you better in the interview.

Your Boarding Pass

You are a great fit if you have:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace Engineering or a related field, or equivalent professional experience that showcases your deep understanding of the industry.

  • Proven experience in Configuration Management, with a keen eye for detail and a strong general understanding of aircraft, including the airframe and spare parts, and extended experience in MRO and scheduled maintenance.

  • The ability to read and interpret technical drawings, with a solid background in Technical Data Authoring.

  • Talent for keeping complex systems organized.

  • Hands-on knowledge of design tools like TAKSY, PASS SSI, or APS.

  • SAP incident management and key user experience, whereas artificial intelligence knowledge is welcomed

  • A collaborative and customer-oriented mindset and a passion for working in a team. You are motivated by shared goals and a "can-do" attitude.

  • Negotiation-level English and fluency in German is essential
