📎 The Role

We’re looking for a Senior Data Engineer to join our team. You will design, build, and optimize scalable data pipelines, distributed systems, and APIs to serve both data products and AI/ML model services. This role requires a mix of technical expertise, innovative thinking, and a passion for building robust, efficient systems.


✅ Your Objectives  

  • Data Stream Processing: Build and maintain scalable event-driven data pipelines to process, transform and serve real-time events and batch of data.

  • Database Expertise: Leverage your knowledge of both relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB) databases for storage and retrieval of structured and unstructured data.

  • Programming Excellence: Build robust, reusable, and efficient solutions using Python, or Java or other relevant technologies.

  • Monitoring and Observability: Set up and utilize tools like Grafana and Prometheus to monitor performance and ensure system health.

  • Mentorship: Share knowledge and best practices with the team to improve the overall data engineering capabilities.


👀 What You Bring to the Table 

  • Data streaming: Expertise in implementing streaming and event-driven systems using Apache Kafka, Apache Flink or alternatives.

  • Programming Skills: Advanced proficiency in Python and familiarity with libraries/frameworks for data engineering and machine learning workflows.

  • Cloud Platforms: Deep experience with at least one cloud service provider, like AWS.

  • Monitoring Tools: Hands-on experience with Grafana, Prometheus, and other observability tools.

  • Database Skills: Strong understanding of database design, query optimization, and schema evolution in production.

  • Distributed Systems: Solid knowledge of distributed system principles and fault-tolerant architectures.

  • AI/ML Focus: Experience integrating AI and machine learning models into production environments.
