As the super-platform for non-professional soccer in Europe, we bring pro-level experiences (news, data, gamification) to the mega-community of +190 million footballers and soccer fans.
We are a startup founded in 2021 in Cologne, Germany - our team consists of 40+ smart and "hungry" members working on Prematch in our offices in Cologne and Berlin (Marketing & Business Team) or remotely across Europe (Tech & Product Team).
We are supported by partners like Krombacher, Flaschenpost, Scalable Capital and DAZN, but there are still 1-2 bangers in the pipeline that you can be excited about! Furthermore, we are supported by successful investors like Ralf Reichert, the CEO of ESL or the entrepreneur Verena Pausder.

Main information
- remote option: you decide - 100% remote (Germany or EU-wide), top office in Cologne/Berlin/ London or a combination of all
- Start: Immediately (flexible start)

For this we need you
- Supporting our experienced developers with both small and larger tasks related to data – including software development, data wrangling, cleaning, and transformation
- Learning everything you can and growing with the team
Your mission
- You will be an integral part of our Data team, taking care of different short- and mid-term initiatives, guided by our experienced developers
- You will work primarily on data related software development, data wrangling, cleaning, and transformation. This includes basic football data, as well as enhancing the data that we already have for a better user experience.
What do you need
- Solid experience in Python for software development
- Confident working with SQL and databases
- A proactive mindset – you take ownership and drive your tasks from start to finish
- You’re not afraid to ask questions and seek feedback when you hit a roadblock
Advantage but not a must
- Knowledge of the python data ecosystem (pandas, streamlit,..)
