Your tasks:

  • Transforming our Data Landscape by reviewing and implementing modern data artifacts
  • Designing specific data-based solutions for different parts of the organization by the use of state-of-the-art technologies and security tools
  • Developing design criteria for the ECC Data Domain 
  • Analyzing our Data Technologies portfolio for potential improvements respectively deriving and implementing new features 
  • Supporting our business departments in the creation of requirements and translating these into software designs to evolve the value added to our business
  • Ensuring the compliance to internal and external standards, regulations, procedures and best practices

 

This position has its focus on Software Development - not on Data Engineering. You will support our Data Technologies-team as a Software Developer (f/m/d).

Your skills:

  • You either have successfully completed a degree in Information Technology/ -Engineering or an apprenticeship as an IT specialist
  • You bring several years of demonstrable experience - ideally in an agile/scrum-based environment
  • Extensive experience in Java, Python and the GCP ecosystem is important
  • You possess routine and familiarity in Requirements Engineering as well as experience in Cloud Based Data Technologies solutions - preferably based on GCP or Azure 
  • Your strong analytical skills set you apart
  • Ideally, you have already gained experience working in a banking and/or commodity environment
  • You can communicate excellently in Business English as well as in German on intermediate level
