As part of the Fresenius SAP S/4HANA business transformation program, we are seeking a skilled Architect for Sustainability Data within our Data Stream to drive global excellence in integration sustainability requirements into the new IT landscape.

Your assigments

  • Demand Planning:

    • Collaborate with Sustainability and Sustainability-related Function and optimize sustainability data management and reporting processes to align sustainability data requirements are considered and realized.

    • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure operational alignment and achieve strategic sustainability objectives.

  • Process Definition & Standardization:

    • Define, document, and implement sustainability data management processes into operational levels.

    • Work with Sustainability Line Function and Business Functions to harmonize process standards across the company.

    • Identify and implement best practices to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.

    • Support definition and enforce implementation of data standards

  • Sustainability-Software & Implementation Projects:

    • Lead or actively support software implementation projects involving SAP solutions, sustainability software tools and actively drive the integration of sustainability data requirements into existing SAP solutions.

    • Serve as a subject matter expert on sustainability software functionalities, integration, and best practices.

    • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to ensure successful system adoption and alignment with business requirements.

  • Business Transformation & Strategic Initiatives:

    • Acts as a connecting link between the IT and sustainability communities.

    • Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate the success of data management processes.

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in sustainability, business administration, industrial engineering, or a related field

  • At least 8 years of professional experience in data governance, master data management, or enterprise data stewardship

  • Strong understanding of master data management principles, governance frameworks, and metadata concepts

  • Extensive experience in sustainability data management, process design and relevant IT solutions within global organizations, preferably pharmaceutical industries or FMCG

  • Proven track record in defining and implementing sustainability data management and reporting processes

  • Demonstrated success working in business transformation environments

  • Excellent working knowledge of SAP systems (type ERP, MDG) and data management tools

  • Hands-on experience with state-of-the-art sustainability software and software implementation projects

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a detail-oriented and structured approach as well as excellent interpersonal and communication skills, particularly in cross-functional and intercultural settings

  • Ability to explain complex topics clearly and influence at all levels of the organization

  • Fluent English and German skills
