Your department and team
The Gene Therapy Data & Analytics team in Penzberg is part of Roche's Gene Therapy technical development function, PTCG. We shape PTCG's digital system landscape to maximize analytical capabilities and implement data science use cases along the entire gene therapy value chain. A focus of our team is the application of bioinformatics analysis and tools to increase product understanding.
Your host team is located in Penzberg and currently consists of nine scientists with expertise in data science, data engineering, bioinformatics and business translation.
Your tasks and responsibilities
Contribute to the development and implementation of bioinformatics pipelines and applications for the analysis and visualization of AAV production data using R Shiny
Improve understanding of critical quality attributes and process parameters
Analyze current workflows to identify and implement improvements
Your profile
You are currently enrolled at university (studying bioinformatics) or in a gap year between degrees
You are highly proficient in programming with R and have first experience in software development using CI/CD and Docker. R Shiny experience is a significant plus
You are familiar with advanced data analysis and machine learning concepts
You are proficient in English
