Data Engineer (m/f/d)

• Design and develop sophisticated automated and scalable data pipelines to ingest, process, and organize data using state-of-the-art workflow automation tools such as Apache Airflow.
• Deploy strategies for enhanced data collection to enrich our datasets.
• Extensively leverage AWS cloud services for the optimal deployment, monitoring, and scalability of our data infrastructure.
• Apply advanced techniques for data anonymization and augmentation upholding the highest standards in data privacy and security during data transfer and handling.
• Research and analyze public datasets to evaluate their relevance and applicability for our objectives, ensuring they align with our data requirements and quality standards.
• Explore datasets to uncover patterns and conduct rigorous statistical analysis, providing actionable insights that inform data-driven decision-making and guide the design of our ML models.
• Improve our existing pipeline by investigate the latest trends in data storage and computing.
• Work closely with a team of experienced AI experts.

• Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, electrical engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing, building, and maintaining data architectures, databases, and large-scale processing systems.
• Knowledge of ETL processes, data warehousing solutions, and data modeling.
• Proficiency in Python, and familiarity with data processing libraries like Pandas, Spark, or Hadoop.
• Experience with cloud platforms, especially AWS or Azure, is advantageous.
• Exceptional problem-solving, analytical, and innovative thinking abilities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent English and German knowledge.
